What Kind of Cabinet Do I Have? Standard VS Non-Standard Cabinets

Standard

The majority of Australian made and flat pack cabinets are 16mm. Ikea® cabinets use 18mm board, so you may need different screws.

External Widths (mm):

Installing Slides

Slides have a built in spacer to clear the hinge block (of a 110 degree hinge).

Non-standard

Cabinets that are not considered standard:

  • Exceeds 350mm width
  • Less than 200mm width
  • L shaped Cabinets or Blind Corner

Anything that is not ‘standard’, as described above, (e.g. a cabinet that is 390mm wide), will require battens or packers to make sure you have a perfect fit.

Our products can be installed in just about any space, nook or void. Our baskets can be fitted onto melamine frames, steel frames, brick walls and pretty much anything that is secure. We can also custom manufacture if you have special requirements or applications.
