Make The Most Of Your Kitchen Drawers
My own cabinets were designed with 6 wonderfully tall wide drawers to increase my kitchen storage. However, I realised over time that much of the space at the top of the kitchen drawers (300H) was not actually being utilised to its potential.
So I added a wide pull out wire basket at the top – like a drawer within a drawer. The wire basket above the drawer rails gave more extra space for storing wide flat items like lids for pots.
Adding an extra basket inside kitchen drawers requires 50H (above the stabilising bars or drawer sides).
As each system for a cabinet or drawer is slightly different, call us for advice in choosing the right solution.
Now I store a range of flat and/or wide items (like all the lids for my cooking pots) that I can then find quicker and access easier. And then no more space in the kitchen drawers is left unused.
